New Trailer for ‘Insurgent’ is Here!

Shailene Woodley chops off her hair and gets down with Theo James in this new trailer for Insurgent, the second installment in the blockbuster Divergent series based on the Veronica Roth novels. The film, which takes place in a divided dystopian society, follows Tris (Woodley) as she attempts to head off war between the factions.

Woodley is in full action-hero mode in the new trailer, which shows her fighting off armed soldiers and crashing through futuristic buildings. Like the Insurgent teaser that debuted during the Super Bowl, this trailer blurs the line between reality and computer simulation – a line that’s not always clear to Tris, who must undergo a series of all-too realistic tests at the hands of her nemesis Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet). Fortunately, she has the loyalty of Four (Theo James), and the trailer teases a steamy love scene between the two tattooed rebels. Insurgent opens in theaters on March 20.
